Overview
/Challenge
Redesigning the Newmarket Housing Authority website centered around creating a more organized and supportive digital experience for residents and community members. The previous layout made it difficult for users to quickly locate housing applications, program details, and important updates, especially for visitors navigating the site for the first time. A major challenge was simplifying dense informational content without removing the clarity and transparency needed for public housing services. The redesign also needed to improve usability across mobile devices while presenting the organization in a way that felt more current, welcoming, and community-focused.
/Solution
The updated design introduced streamlined page layouts, clearer calls-to-action, and a more structured navigation system to reduce friction throughout the user journey. Content sections were reorganized to better highlight essential resources, deadlines, and housing information in a way that was easier to scan and understand. The final solution delivered a cleaner and more accessible experience that helps users access critical information faster while reinforcing the Housing Authority’s role as a reliable community resource.
Design
The new design concept uses engaging imagery, improved typography, and thoughtful spacing to create a cleaner and more user-friendly experience on both desktop and mobile devices. A consistent green color palette strengthens the organization’s branding while giving the site a polished, reliable, and approachable feel.
